What I knew about Creativity after Creative Studies class

Creativity refers to the phenomenon whereby a person creates something new (a product, a solution, a work of art etc.) which has some kind of value. What counts as "new" may be in reference to the individual creator, or to the society or domain within which the novelty occurs. What counts as "valuable" is similarly defined in a variety of ways.

Creativity is an act turning new and imagination ideas to reality. Creative people use their right brain more than their left one, that is because right brain is responsible for our creativity.

Here are some example of Creative Picture:

Basically, you all know what this design is for. Yes, its a toilet tissue holder. Very creative.

They replace the filament with a match.

This is not a gun, this is a book with gun shape book cover, how creative!

Those eggs is like watching a real life horror movie, the drawing of faces on the eggs enhance the emotion of those eggs.

Right Brain and Left Brain

Definition

This theory of the structure and functions of the mind suggests that the two different sides of the brain control two different “modes” of thinking. It also suggests that each of us prefers one mode over the other.

Discussion

Experimentation has shown that the two different sides, or hemispheres, of the brain are responsible for different manners of thinking. The following table illustrates the differences between left-brain and right-brain thinking:

Left BrainRight Brain
Logical
Sequential
Rational
Analytical
Objective
Looks at parts
Random
Intuitive
Holistic
Synthesizing
Subjective
Looks at wholes
